The colour Scarlett
Scarlett, not my real name, but the online name I go by, taken from my favourite novel "Gone With the Wind". 22 years old.

I enjoy the fandoms for Doctor Who and Merlin on LJ in particular. I've loved both Nine and Ten with all their companions, especially Martha. I am a confirmed pervy Eleven fancier and a big fan of Matt Smithm even before he was cast as Eleven (check him out as Jim in the Sally Lockhart films!). Eleven and Amy are already favourites for me, I love them individually and as a TARDIS team. (Excellent gif is from tryingtorevive.) Appreciation for Merlin has grown so much on LJ which I've loved. I ship Arthur/Gwen this nobody's business and I only hope the show contiues for several more years at least!

My absolute favourite show would have to be Farscape, which I caught onto very late, only in 2008, almost 10 years after it began. It is without a doubt the most spectacular, dramatic, tragic, funny, emotional and compelling show I've ever seen. It's a tough act to follow - nothing really lives up to it! But I'm a long time fan of Buffy, which Farscape just barely knocked off the top spot. Stargate SG-1 is also something which I will forever love.

I love the Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes universe and prefer AtA over LoM - sacrilege! Keeley Hawes is stunning and the 80's setting is what edges it out over LoM though. (gif from tryingtorevive)

My love for period dramas knows no bounds and I'm a massive fan of the 2006 Jane Eyre. Toby Stephens as Mr. Rochester, brilliant casting, I never thought I'd love the character so much. The sexual tension, the banter and the beautiful writing made it one of the best period dramas I've ever seen. The 2004 North and South was also excellent. Dr Quinn: Medicine Woman, which I recently watched from beginning to end for the first time - a lovely, nostalgic, romantic show set in the old West, which was perfect for me. Cranford was more compelling than I'd expected and I love it to bits. Lark Rise to Candleford - thank God for an ongoing and current period drama which I can always count on to be heartwarming, involving and very funny.
